AARON DUANE POLK “POLK™” Born Aaron Duane Polk, in Gary, IN. He is the third of six children. As a child, he and his siblings formed a singing & rapping group. While growing musically in choir, his other musical interest led him to the world of hip-hop. Polk™ had similar interest with four high school friends, which led them to form a rap group, named “DRAMATIZED”. This created a noteworthy “buzz” throughout the streets of Gary, Indiana. Creative differences and varied musical influences led Polk to take a sojourn from rap before venturing off into his solo career. Polk then started from scratch by working with different producers, songwriters, and musicians. Polk began to experiment musically, which improved his songwriting and song production. With a host of musical influences, Polk’s music combines soulful melodies and true life rhymes in a unique blend of musical genres, giving Polk an original sound from the streets of Gary, IN. Production on the new upcoming release will be will include BOYIWONDA, FINGERROLL, E-BEATS, JESSIE BLACK and others. The project will also include one video “The Sample” and that video will have a snippet from another blazing single “Long Road”. In 2008, POLK and his MTM Ent., family are focusing on building our own brand awareness, by promoting our very own record label, More Than Music Entertainment, an In-house Marketing Company, and by sponsoring a Professional Athlete. In addition, Polk™, along with his personal manager/business partner, is traveling the country doing shows, promoting, modeling, acting, and making Great music with other artist, and producers along the way. Look out for the New Self Entitled Debut Release, "POLK™" to be on shelves, and the internet April 8th, 2008!!!!!
